I’m Rakhi, a designer with a deep-rooted passion for creativity, color, and craftsmanship. My journey in the world of design started with my  Master’s in Design from NIFT, Delhi, and since then, I’ve dedicated myself to creating unique, elegant, and thoughtful designs that resonate with modern, independent women.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching aspiring designers, shaping fashion and lifestyle courses, and guiding students through practical experiences that bridge the gap between theory and the real world. As an Assistant Professor, I developed courses and conducted live assignments that gave students a 360-degree learning experience. I also pursued my passion for sustainability by leading seminars and discussions around fabric and fashion innovation.

In 2015, I brought my dream to life with the launch of Ihkar, a brand born from my love for combining design, color, and affordability. At Ihkar, we create exclusive, high-quality fashion that allows women to feel confident and stylish on any occasion without compromising on price.

My journey has also been shaped by my industry experience, working with renowned brands and taking part in prestigious international exhibitions like Heimtextil in Germany. Whether designing home furnishings or fashion collections, I believe in creating products that reflect beauty, purpose, and authenticity that truely embodies the essence of being a women.
